    Hannah Skewes is a poet, essayist, photographer, multimedia storyteller, publication designer and shameless jaywalker based in Denver. She comes from a journalism background and carries that thread throughout her work, writing either observational and or deeply personal pieces. Her photography is also heavy on the documentary side, focusing on available light, candid portraits and abstract crops and angles. These days she’s focused on new media, poetry, narrative storytelling as activism, photojournalism, sexual violence prevention, and mental health normalization.
