James Dowthwaite

James Dowthwaite is a lecturer in English Literature at the University of Jena, in Germany. He is currently working on a book on Aestheticism and fate. He grew up in the United Kingdom, and now lives in Germany with his wife and son. His first book, Ezra Pound and 20th Century Theories of Language, came out with Routledge in 2019, and he has poetry forthcoming in Acumen and Poetry Salzburg Review.
